Custom outdoor knife factory
Outdoor knife buyers are picky. They read steel datasheets, they know what spine height feels right, and they return knives over edge geometry. We've shipped to bushcraft brands, hunting retailers and tactical co-ops since 2012. Below is what we build and how we typically spec each application.

Most outdoor & hunting knives projects use one or both of these.
Frequently asked.
1095 carbon takes a sharper edge, easier to field-sharpen, but rusts if neglected. Bushcraft and hunting brands often prefer it for authenticity. D2 or 440C stainless is rust-resistant and lower-maintenance — better for survival kits, marine, or general retail.
We harden the edge to 60+ HRC for retention and leave the spine softer (52-54 HRC) for shock absorption. Necessary on chopping/batoning knives (kukri, machete, large bushcraft). Adds ~5 days lead time.
Kydex: weatherproof, fast draw, retention click, lower cost in scale. Leather: traditional look, premium feel, requires care. We see brands use leather for bushcraft and Kydex for tactical/survival. Both molded in-house.
Yes for hunting/utility purpose. UK, France, Germany have length limits (varies — UK lock-knife rules don't apply to fixed blades but blade length limits in public do). We can produce blade-length variants by region. Provide your country, we'll flag any concerns.
Yes. Cerakote ceramic coating in any of ~150 colors. Adds ~USD 3-6/unit at MOQ 300. We also offer DLC (diamond-like carbon — black, premium, abrasion-resistant) at higher cost.
