ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) is for brands who want a product that doesn't exist yet. You bring a market gap, a design language, a price target — we bring 17 years of blade engineering and an in-house industrial design team. The output is a defensible, brand-unique SKU that you own.

Concept design
We translate your brief (target customer, retail price, design language references) into 3-5 concept directions with sketches and mood boards.
3D engineering
Selected concept goes to CAD. Blade geometry validated against grind profile and material constraints. Handle ergonomics tested with physical mock-ups.
Prototype iteration
Hand-built prototype, real materials, your branding. Typically 2-3 rounds before mass production lock.

ODM adds a design fee (USD 1,500-5,000 depending on scope) and longer lead time (60-90 days for first delivery vs 35-50 for OEM). Per-unit cost is similar once you're in mass production. Worth it if you want a product no one else has.
Yes. The design IP is yours — we don't manufacture the same SKU for any other customer in your defined territory and channel. Exclusivity terms are written into the agreement.
We can prepare CAD and rendering files suitable for design patent submission in CN, US or EU. Filing is done by your IP attorney — we coordinate documentation as needed.

For projects above USD 100K production value, yes — design lead can visit your office for a 2-3 day immersion. Travel cost passed through; design fee credits the visit.
